Zentrum Care LLC ("Zentrum Care," "we," or "us") operates two text message (SMS) programs. They are separate: opting in to one does not opt you in to the other, each is sent from its own phone number, and each can be stopped on its own.
The programs
Zentrum Care Sign-In Codes. A one-time passcode, sent to the mobile number you enter, so that you can sign in to your Zentrum Care account or confirm that the number we hold for you is yours. These messages contain the passcode and nothing else, and each one is sent because you have just asked for it.
Zentrum Care Appointment Alerts. Messages about appointments booked through Zentrum Care: the booking confirmation, a reminder before the visit, notice that the Healthcare Provider has changed or cancelled the visit, an offer of a new time when they cancel, notice that your insurer has reported a problem with the coverage on file, and a reminder to finish your family profile shortly before a first visit. Clinic staff who add and verify their own mobile number in the provider portal receive alerts on this same program about bookings at their own practice.
Neither program is a marketing program. We do not send promotional or advertising text messages, and we do not sell your mobile number or share it with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
How you opt in
Sign-In Codes. You opt in by entering your mobile number and asking us to send you a code — on the sign-in screen at app.zentrumcare.com, or in the intake chat at zentrumcare.com/find-care, where the code confirms the number we would use to reach you. We send a passcode only in response to that request.
Appointment Alerts. When you book an appointment, the checkout shows a separate checkbox, unticked, that reads:
I agree to receive appointment text messages from Zentrum Care (confirmations, reminders, changes). Text messages are not encrypted and may include your child's first name, their provider, and the date and time of their visit. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Ticking that box is optional. It is not ticked for you, it is not bundled with any other agreement you accept at checkout, and leaving it unticked does not stop or delay your booking — the booking completes either way, and we send the same information by email and in your Zentrum Care account instead.
Clinic staff opt in separately, and only for themselves: in the provider portal, under Settings → Account, a staff member enters their own mobile number and confirms it with a one-time passcode we text to it. Only a number confirmed that way receives alerts, and a practice cannot enter a number on a colleague's behalf.
Message frequency
Sign-In Codes: one message each time you ask for a passcode.
Appointment Alerts: frequency varies with your bookings. For each appointment you book, expect one confirmation and one reminder before the visit, and a further message only when something changes — the Healthcare Provider cancels or moves the visit, your insurer reports a problem with the coverage on file, or your family profile is still incomplete shortly before a first visit.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Zentrum Care does not charge you for these messages. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them, according to your plan.
How to stop, and how to get help
To stop the messages, reply STOP to any Zentrum Care text message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further messages of that kind to that number. STOP applies to the number that sent the message, so replying STOP to an appointment alert stops appointment alerts and leaves sign-in passcodes working. To start again, reply START to that same number, or write to us at support@zentrumcare.com.
For help, reply HELP to any Zentrum Care text message, and you will receive a reply identifying the program and telling you how to reach us. You can also contact us directly at support@zentrumcare.com.
Stopping Appointment Alerts does not cancel any appointment and does not close your account: we continue to send the same information by email and in your Zentrum Care account.
Delivery and privacy
Text messages travel over mobile carrier networks that we do not operate. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery cannot be guaranteed. Please do not treat a text message as your only record of an appointment.
SMS is not an encrypted channel. Appointment Alerts are written to carry the least that makes them useful: a child's first name, the Healthcare Provider, and the date and time of the visit. They do not contain a diagnosis, a clinical note, or an insurance member ID.
These programs are available on major mobile carriers in the United States, to mobile numbers in the United States. Carrier support may change without notice.
